Chunfeng Dance School
​
Chunfeng Dance School was established in 2013, and its founder, Yichun Yang graduated from the Dance Academy of the Central University for Nationalities. The school primarily teaches Chinese classical and traditional dances. Over the past 10 years, Chunfeng Dance School has won numerous awards, including the Gold Award in the 2020 International Taoli Dance Competition Group Dance category, and the Gold Award in the 2019 Chinese Television Children's Spring Festival Dance Competition. It has also earned countless accolades in the South Florida Showstopper Southern Regional Dance Finals every year.

The first part of today's performance is "Uighur Children's Dance". The Chinese folk dance arts are incredibly diverse, with a wide array of styles, particularly in Xinjiang, located in the northwest of China. Xinjiang is known as the "land of song and dance." The dance content from Xinjiang is rich and varied, with its delicate and heartfelt movements showcasing the vibrant spirit and positive outlook of the Uighur people.

The second part of the performance, "Hairpin Flowers": In China, there is a type of headpiece that is called hairpin flower, a delicate art of embedding flowers into the hair. This headpiece was not only the essence of ancient girls' accessories but also embodies the beauty of traditional Chinese aesthetics. Each type of flower hairpin has its unique charm, whether elegant or energetic, blooming in the hair and telling a beautiful story that intertwines tradition with modern fashion.
